<The Sketchbook of Jean Jullien>
Jean Jullien always carries a sketchbook, and records impressive moments with impromptu drawings. Everything he records in his daily life is a source of inspiration to produce a complete work.
He has kept a number of sketchbooks such as his own diary for a long time, and among them, 100 selected sketchbooks will be unveiled to the world for the first time through this exhibition.
 <Drawing: Another language of Jean Jullien>
For Jean Jullien, drawing is like a language. He sends messages to people through his paintings and conveys his feelings and opinions. In addition, his works, which are implemented in various media such as illustration, painting, video, and sculpture, gain vitality from his hands. You can see how his drawing style has changed over the past decade and what kind of work each drawing has been completed.
Jean Jullien presents numerous works through SNS. Instagram is the most influential and most playful medium in modern society. The author, who observes pleasant daily life and posts the irony of modern society in witty expressions, considers SNS as the most active space for commentary on his job and an excellent platform for experimenting with new ideas and expression materials.

<Constant research and experimentation>
Jean Jullien has been doing a lot of experimental work since he was a student. Even if he tried one method and did not get the desired result, he did not stop experimenting again. Through these experiences, Jean Julien has established himself as an artist dealing with various media and a wide range of fields. In particular, Jean Jullien has been working with his brother NICO for a long time, expanding his work world into new areas such as video and installation.

For Jean Jullien, the close relationship with his family is a big driving force in life and a great source of inspiration for his creative activities. Travels, walks, and numerous conversations with his family became the basis for the artist to look into the beauty of everyday life. In Lesconil, France, there is a house where the artist spent his childhood and still lives with his family.
